When being annoyed having to travel from the GH to DoA (passing 4 loading screens), i came up with this idea. Since you can leave GH and return to your previous location, GW can remember where you were. Wouldnt it be nice if you could save a couple of your favorite locations, so you can travel to them instantly instead of having to take boats to continents etc.
Instant acces to your favorite PvP, farm and trade spots, defenatly a help for people with crappy PCs.

It would look like this:
MENU
Load a location.
Save your current location.

You would be able to save a X amount of locations ofcourse, say 5.
Random list would look like:
1. Random Arenas
2. Gate of Anguish
3. Droknars Forge
4. Heroes Acent
5. Vasburg Armory

Yeah, It's rather annoying having to go through the certain outposts when wanting to go somewhere especially when changing continents

I think something like this has been suggested before, only that thread was about choosing a default city to log into per continent (so you don't have to zone into LA, Kamadan, or Kaineng, or as I like to call them, Lag Cities, unless you chose that city).

I /signed to that one, but yours makes sense as well. /sign

Would definately be nice to have one for Gate of Pain just so I can avoid having to go from Droks > boat > kamadon > vortex > Gate.

I meant the town or outpost, not the actual spot you are standing in. Thats little use anyhow.

It would be useful.

Lets say your in a party with other players and want to travel from realm of torment to any non-NF town other than LA, Kaineng or great temple of balthazar. First you map to mouth of torment, then to LA/Kaineng/Great Temple, then finally you warp to your destination. Since you have to wait 10 seconds at each stop, thats 30 seconds of waiting to get there. More if you happen to hit district 1 in LA or Kaineng and therefore lag.

Though since LA, Kamadan and Kaineng are the main trade hubs because they are the towns you boat to, it would be interesting to see if they would move. But thats not really important.

/signed. Even if it only let you hit towns instead of any town/outpost it would be a great help. Naturally you would be limited to only places you had already visited.

Though as this isn't really required, I'd say that if ANET choses to implement this it should get a very low priority.

I'd rather simply add all the cities to the travel list.

Cavalon is always almost empty, so no lag there.

I would like to see map tabs more so you can just switch maps and go to any town you want. I would never see the "lag cities" again.

I hate having to zone into trade hubs like Kamadan and Kaineng on my laptop because of the lack of ram. Usually I just zone into an international district first, but from GH that's not possible.

I like the idea /signed, it's just that it'd be better if you could save like as many as you want... but it's possible that could take up alot of space... maybe like 20-30 places
